Performance and structure of horizontal conveyor | output conveyor

The structure of the horizontal screw conveyor consists of a semi-circular material trough and a rotating shaft with spiral blades mounted on a bearing and rotating by means of a driving device. The material is loaded into the trough through a charging funnel. Discharging is carried out at 3 or 4 discharge ports.
The blades of the screw shaft are mostly stamped out of a 48mm thick sheet steel, then welded to the shaft and welded to each other. The thickness is selected. For conveying abrasive and viscous materials, the spiral surface is rolled with flat steel or made of cast iron.
In addition to bearings in Liangrui, horizontal screw conveyors generally need to install intermediate bearings. The intermediate bearing is suspended from the upper part on the transverse slats, and the slats are fixed to the flange of the trough or its reinforced angle steel. Therefore, this type of bearing is also called a suspension bearing. Since the spiral blades should be discontinuous at the suspension bearing, the thickness of the bearing along the axis direction should be limited as much as possible to ensure that the length of the discontinuity of the two spiral blades is as small as possible. Generally, sliding bearings made of bronze, anti-friction cast iron, babbitt alloy or other anti-friction materials are used. In order to reduce resistance, rolling bearings can also be used. Rolling bearings should adopt reliable sealing devices to prevent the entry of small particles when conveying materials. At the same time, the sealing device should not increase the diameter and length of the bearing body much. All kinds of bearings are lubricated with grease in an oil cup. Several typical intermediate bearings of cast and welded structures.
